My motivation for losing weight is my family’s history of diabetes. Also, watching my peers at their ideal weight has inspired me to lose weight and get healthier. I changed my eating habits by eating more vegetables, fruits, and lean meat. I stopped eating cakes, cookies, candy, and chips.
I first started off my weight loss journey riding my stationary bike. Later on in my journey, I started walking 7 days a week for 5 miles a day around my neighborhood.
My starting weight was 235 pounds and my current weight is 146 pounds. My height is 5’4″. My weight loss transformation took a year and two months.
My advice to others who want to lose weight is to be consistent, determined and patient. The hard work pays off in the end.
