Three weeks in and the clean eating is getting better. I’m thankful for this challenge because it changed the way I think about eating. I’m able to wear clothes that I couldn’t fit in my closet. I’m going to weigh in tomorrow but I made a lifestyle change forereal,

I believe I am going to continue going semi- meatless. I am trying to envision Thanksgiving with no meat! I know that I can make it:)

The first two weeks of this challenge was full of fits and starts and adjustments for me. But by week 3, I decided to also give up the fat in dairy, egg and especially “good” oils, the weight loss kicked in and I exercised more, (still not up to 5 hrs yet, but 3.5 is improvement for me). Happy to report I lost 2 lbs. this week and 5 lbs total for the month. So now I’m just trying to learn how to manage my type 2 diabetes without having the meat and fat to slow down the sugar surge after eating. Any suggestions would be appreciated. However, there were a couple of days when I only needed half my medication. Yeah! Just trying to keep that going.
I so love the way my stomach feels with no meat. So quiet and at peace 🙂

I am doing good meatless 20 days. I didn’t get all my exercise in this week but usually do
15-20 hours a week. I love to exercise. I will make up for it next week. I been exercising for a while. I used to wear size 18. I brought my second pair of jean size 12 yesterday.
I almost gave in on the meat this week but I pulled myself through! You have to sometimes talk to yourself (whatever work) 🙂

Meatless for three weeks. I started one week early so this is week four for me and I have eaten a little meat. Back on the band wagon on Monday. Down 10lbs.Hang in there everyone.
