After her mother passed away from health issues that run in her family, she was determined to break that pattern of illness. On July 1, 2018, I made a decision that would change my life forever. The motivation behind this decision was losing my best friend, my Mother, due to health issues. These were health issues run in my family, just link you’ll see in many other families. I want to be the one to break the cycle of family members passing at an early age due to health problems.
After losing my mom, I gained an extra 25-30 pounds, and I knew I had to do something. I wanted to continue to make my Mother proud, so I did just that.
Now, here I am two years later. I’ve lost 99 pounds. My starting weight was 227-230 pounds, and my current weight is 134 pounds.
Fitness changed my life and my mentality. I love fitness, and now I’m working to reach my goal of helping other people achieve their goals!
