Transformation of the Day: Catrina lost 32 pounds. She didn’t feel comfortable in her clothes, and her energy levels were tanking, so she decided to make some changes. Counting macros, counting calories, and meal prep was the perfect combination for her. Check out her journey.
What was your motivation?
I began this journey a few years ago as I tipped the scale of 200 pounds. I began to have less and less energy, and I was uncomfortable in my clothes. Initially, I just wanted to lose weight. Then I realized that I wanted to experience the complete health benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
How did you change your eating habits?
I meal prep and manage my protein by focusing on my Macros. I watch my carb and sugar intake, and I stay within my required calorie count. I use My Fitness Pal to track my meals.
Tell us about your workout routine.
I work out five days a week, doing cardio and strength training. I work my upper body two days a week and my lower body three days a week. I do 30 minutes of Stair Master all five days for Cardio.
Starting weight/Current weight
My starting weight was 207 pounds. Today, I weigh 175 pounds. My transition is all-natural with no surgeries. Current measurements:
Bust: 34 inches
Waist: 30 inches
Hips: 42 inches
High Hip: 33 inches
What is your height?
I am 5’4″.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
The biggest lesson I have learned is to stay consistent, manage my protein, and challenge myself. “When you cheat, you are only cheating yourself.”
What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
The first part of losing weight is setting a goal and having a plan.
