Hello, my name is Carla Hicks, and I am 49 years young. After many attempts to lose weight on my own and seeing no results, I started to feel defeated. Weighing 212 pounds was the heaviest I’ve ever been, and I began to dislike the person I was seeing in the mirror. This was not me.
I was scrolling on Facebook one day, and I saw all these beautiful women’s before and after weight loss pictures. I knew I had to find out more, so I clicked on one of the photos, and my life changed for the better.
Mr. Terry Starks was behind all these transformations. I quickly emailed him and got started with his program. Terry creates a meal plan that’s specific to each individual. I cut out bread, sweets, and sugars. A few of the healthy foods I ate were fish, broccoli, green beans, baked chicken, ground turkey, ground chicken, and peas. And, most importantly, I drank nothing but water.
I followed his meal plan exactly as he stated, and within 35 short days, I had lost 19 pounds. Yes, in just 35 days, I went from 212 pounds to 193 pounds, and I am the new me.
How did you change your lifestyle and habits?
Terry’s plan of eating healthy (5 small meals daily) and exercising once or twice a day is how I did this. My height is 5’8″, so no one knew I weighed as much as I did.
Every morning, I walked/ran for 50 minutes. I would do a minimum of three miles every day.
What kept you motivated?
Looking in the mirror and seeing the inches melt off kept me motivated. I was able to wear clothes I couldn’t fit anymore. Another big motivation was Terry Starks sending daily motivational quotes, which kept me focused and on track.
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
The biggest lesson I have learned from this is no matter your age or your weight, you can do anything you set your mind to.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
I did not have weight loss surgery or take any diet pills. I only followed Terry Starks’ program of eating healthy and exercise.
What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
I would like to advise anyone who isstruggling with weight loss or who simply wants to lose a few pounds to reach out to Terry Starks on Facebook. He will help you with your weight loss goals.
