Ashley lost 45 pounds. By cooking more meals at home, using portion control and working out five days a week, she’s achieved excellent results. As she saw her body change, her motivation increased. Check out her journey.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going when you wanted to give up?
My greatest motivation is my results. I became addicted to the changes in my body. I loved the positive changes, and I started to like what I saw in the mirror. When I wanted to give up, I would look at my before pictures as a reminder that I have to keep working.
How did you change your eating habits?
I started cooking more meals and did less eating out. I ate more veggies and chicken. I also ate fewer carbs and less sugar. I eat six times a day and smaller portion sizes.
What did your workout routine consist of?
I work out five times a week and doing HIIT workouts. I focus more on my legs three times a week. I also attend a CrossFit class twice a week.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 245 pounds, and now I weigh 200!
What is your height?
I am 5’7″.
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started my journey in November 2018. It took about three months to start seeing significant results.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
The biggest lesson I learned is that you can be motivated all the time, but it is dedication that will keep you going.
What advice do you have for people who want to lose weight?
Stay dedicated. Buy a cute bathing suit you want to fit into, and put it up on your wall. Use that suit as a reminder daily to eat clean and workout.
