Ashley lost 202 pounds. She felt like the pounds were holding her back, and she was starting to experience health issues. Since January 2019, she has worked hard, changed her eating habits, and worked out consistently.
My name is Ashley, and I’m 27 years old. I would love to share my story.
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started my journey on January 10, 2019. My transformation has taken one year and eight months so far.
What was your motivation?
My motivation was very personal. I felt like my weight was holding me back from life in general. I also started to have mild health problems that I knew could turn into something serious.
How did you change your eating habits?
I changed my eating habits by eliminating red meat, sugar, and high carb foods. I started eating more veggies and drinking more water. I got more creative as time went on.
What was your workout routine?
My workout routine was exercising on the treadmill three times a week for an hour.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 380 pounds, and my current weight is 178 pounds.
What is your height?
I’m 5’7″.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
Weight loss surgery was not apart of my journey.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is you’ve got to trust the process even if you do not see immediate results.
What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
The advice I have for women who want to lose weight is to be consistent. That’s the biggest key.
