Weight Loss Story of the Day: Amisha lost 35 pounds. After fighting the weight loss battle for years, this petite mom embraced healthy eating, meal planning and regular exercise to lose the pounds. Now, she is a weight loss coach helping others to do the same. Here is what she shared with us about her weight loss journey…
I have battled with my weight for ten long years. I tried everything and nothing seemed to work for me. I finally found a plan that not only gave me results but it also prepared me for a complete lifestyle change.
What was your motivation?
I was tired of being tired and sluggish and just never feeling good. I have a young son and I needed to keep up with him. Also, a good friend of mine started losing a lot of weight. I was amazed and decided to try a similar program
How did you change your eating habits?
The program that I was on, which I now coach others on, changed my life completely. In 45 days, I managed to drop 35 pounds while learning good eating habits and realizing my body naturally craves healthier foods. I cut back on sugars, fats and breads. I stopped eating late and eating out. I also put down the juices and started drinking more water.
What did your workout routines look like?
I do cardio three times a week
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 165 pounds and my current weight is 135 pounds. My height is 5’2″ tall.
How long did your transformation take?
45 days. I started in January 2014 and I’ve maintained my weight loss.
What advice do you have for others who want to lose weight?
Never give up! We are all different and it may take some time to find out what works for YOU. Surround yourself with others with the same goals as you. Planning and preparation is so very important. Meal prepping is key.
My weightloss changed my life and my career! It has provided me with the tools to bless others to lose weight and get healthy. I am now a weight loss coach and coach others on the same plan that I did. I create customized meal plans for my clients and I also offer food prep and delivery services. I have helped so many people reach their weight loss goals.

You look amazing…but 35 lost in JUST 45 days with JUST three days of cardio per week and proper diet? I’ve done that for months and never had results that good. Congratulations!
