What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going when you wanted to give up?
My goal is to create a healthier lifestyle and develop lifelong healthy habits that I can teach my future family. I was unhappy with where I was physically and mentally. I wanted a full makeover. I knew if I was healthier physically and mentally, all the other areas in my life would improve.
How did you change your eating habits?
I changed my eating habits by tracking my food intake using the WW point system [Weight Watchers]. This allowed me to control my portion sizes and develop better eating habits.
What did your workout routine look like? How often did you workout?
I work out five days a week. During quarantine, I’ve been biking, running, and doing HIIT workout videos.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My highest weight was 265 pounds, and my current weight is 194 pounds.

I started on July 31, 2019.

The secret is never giving up.
What advice do you have for others who want to lose weight?
Change your mindset. Do it for your physical health and mental well being, not just to look good in a bathing suit.
