Towanda lost 47 pounds by working out at the gym and eating clean. Here is what she shared about losing the weight:
Hello there!! I wanted my before and after photos posted on your website for motivational and inspirational purposes. I have fought with weight problems for many years but finally I am almost out of the 200’s! Since January 2013, I am down 47 pounds. I do at least an hour in the gym when I workout. I work on the elliptical for cardio and weights for my arms and abs. I am currently 15 pounds away from being 199 and I am very excited. Clean eating is a big factor as I have added a lot of fruits and vegetables in my daily diet. No overeating and I’m very, very strict with my junk food intake. (SUGAR was always a problem) I also stay far away from fried foods. Please let these ladies know the process is not easy but it is well worth the work for a healthy body!! The pic to the left was taken back in 2010 which shows how heavy I was. The middle picture is from the end of 2012 and the last picture was June 13, 2013.
I was motivated by my wedding date back in 2008. Once the wedding was over I started unhealthy eating again. After three years went by I became frustrated with my weight, as I went as far as a size 24. That size 24 and 275 pounds led me to believe I had to change for a healthy future! My family and co-workers who are big on health led me into this size 16 today with work out techniques and clean eating! I am looking forward to my next goal of 199 pounds on August 31. All in a matter of two years I have lost weight, quit smoking and quit drinking…all in hopes to a great future for my children and I. I am hoping to help someone out there lead a better future as well!!!

Congratulations Towanda !!!!!!!!!!!!!!Great job bet you feel like a new person. I have lost 46lbs and trying to get to that magic number of 170 I hadn’t gotten serious about strength training until recently my goal is to do it on alternate days with my normal routine of walking/biking/elliptical.
