What is your current weight? How have you maintained your results and continued to get results?
I have been on this weight loss journey for six years. It’s not easy, especially doing it completely natural. I started at approx 280+ pounds, and now I’m at 200 pounds. My weight has been up and down (nothing over 220 lbs).
I paid attention to my body and lost 20 pounds within six months this year. I’ve been swimming for the summer and working out 3-4 days a week. I also started gardening. I eat two meals a day. I eat less and move more – No diets or restrictions. Just balance and lots of discipline.
Looking back on the lessons you’ve learned on your journey, which one stands out the most?
Looking back, what I’ve learned is how to take time out for myself and that proper rest is very important for the body. I have also learned I can eat whatever I want but in smaller portions. I snack less, and I’m very mindful of my daily activities.
Would you like to offer any new or different advice to women who want to lose weight?
My advice: Weight loss starts within through finding peace with yourself and finding your WHY!!! Working out and eating healthier will feel good. 😊 (No diets but a healthier lifestyle.)
