I was 17 years old when I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and pre-diabetes. I was overweight and very unhappy. Then I found the gym! I began working out by only doing 5 minutes on the stair master until I worked my way all the way to weight lifting.
I have lost over 100 pounds and gained confidence. I share my story all over my page, along with my skin removal journey, on my YouTube channel: PeopleCallMeRemi.
What was your motivation?
What motivated me was my results and health. I started to love what I saw in the mirror, and this became a lifestyle.
How did you change your eating habits? What is your workout routine?
I started my journey with Keto, which helped me control what I put into my mouth. Now I just count calories/eye my foods. I also try to cook at home instead of buying food.
I do 15 minutes of cardio (stair master) 4 days a week. I also weight train for about an hour 5 days a week. I share my workout and meal plans on @rem_lekun
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 267 pounds, and my current weight is 165 pounds.
What is your height?
My height is 5’6″.

When did you begin your journey?
I started my journey in 2016. It took me one year to lose the weight and another year to learn how to keep it off.
Was weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No, weight loss surgery was not part of my journey.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
The biggest lesson I learned and the advice I could give others would be to love yourself and understand that everyone’s body/journey is different. You have to love yourself to really see a difference.
