Transformation of the Day: Katrina lost 43 pounds. She’s been a personal trainer for over 30 years. Several factors led to weight gain, but she got back on track with lots of water, fresh food, healthier choices, and consistent workouts.

What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
I have been a personal trainer for over 30 years! My age plus the pandemic, moving and life changes caused me to hit over 200 pounds! I am a healthy 160 lbs today, praise God!
How did you change your eating habits?
I fast, eat lots of fresh foods, and drink lots of water. I don’t eliminate anything, BUT I’m intentional about my intake. So yea, I’ll drink a margarita. Lol.
What is your workout routine?
My routine includes weight lifting, running, and the sauna.
How often did you work out?
I work out five days a week.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 203 pounds, and my current weight is 160 pounds.
What is your height?
I am 5’4″.
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
It took about eight months.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
No large meals after 7 pm, don’t skip your water, and choose bread or potatoes!
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Remain consistent and surround yourself with people who want to see you win!
