Precious lost 24 pounds. Her health was declining, and her doctor wanted to put her on medication with terrible side effects, so she knew it was time to take action. With lots of cardio, resistance training, and a healthy diet, she has transformed.
By incorporating intense cardio, resistance training, and a healthy diet into my lifestyle, I toned and lost 24 pounds in four months.
What was your motivation?
This year marks three years since I had hernia surgery. It left me with painful scar tissue. I was left unable to exercise, and the pounds piled on. I became motivated to get the weight off because it was starting to create health issues. My doctor was looking to put me on medication with terrible side effects.
Once I got to the place where it was no longer painful to exercise (in September 2020), I challenged myself to do five miles a day of bike riding outdoors. Five turned into ten, and now I ride anywhere from 15 to 20 miles 4-5 days a week. I also do one big 30-40 mile ride once a month. Along with this cardio, I do resistance training.
How did you change your eating habits?
I cut back on carbs, sugar, and red meat.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My beginning weight was 167 pounds. I now weigh in at 143 pounds. My goal is 135 pounds. I’m accomplishing my goal of becoming healthier while toning and losing weight.
What is your height?
I’m 5’2″.
When did you start your weight loss journey?
I started my journey in September 2020.
What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
My best advice is to not be hard on yourself. Weight gain doesn’t happen overnight. Therefore, it won’t disappear overnight. With consistency, goal setting, and trusting the process, you will get where you intend to go without rushing yourself.

You look fabulous!
And it seems as if you lost more than that. The biking definitely helped in losing inches.
CONGRATULATIONS!
