Transformation of the Day: Shalondra lost 53 pounds. After her husband was diagnosed with hypertension and diabetes, they decided to start working out and eating healthier food. She found that the Keto diet is the best fit for her.
What was your motivation?
My motivation was to become healthier for my family and me. My husband was diagnosed with hypertension and diabetes, so I knew we needed to make changes to our diet and exercise for him to lower his numbers without having to be on medication forever.
What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
Seeing the weight coming off and me feeling better physically keeps me motivated.
How did you change your eating habits?
Adopting the Keto diet and eating more fresh fruits and veggies is how I lost the weight. I pretty much eliminated all added sugars from my diet.
What did your workout routine consist of? How often did you work out?
I work out 3-4 days a week for an hour each day.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 227 pounds, and my current weight is 174 pounds.

How long did your transformation take?
I lost 50 pounds by January 2021.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
Regular exercise is a must regardless of your diet program.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Consistency is key. Also, never judge your journey by others because we all transform at different levels. And lastly, never use the scale as the only indicator for determining progress.

I’m so Motivated now to lose this weight that I have on me. Because I see you and I am Currently the same weight you where except I’m shorter than you. You give me hope. I’m not sure what type of diet I will do but it will be a life Changing diet. I’m not good with sticking to diets so I will change my eating habits. Thank you for being my motivation.
