Nicole lost 22 pounds. She had challenges with her weight and health during college. However, she found weight loss even more challenging after having her first child. With healthier eating habits, exercise, patience, and consistency, she’s now in the best shape of her life.
I had horrible habits when I was in college, like any normal college student. I gained about 50 pounds very quickly and had some health issues because of it. That was the first time I had to really change my eating habits.
After giving birth to my baby, the weight gain was very different and MUCH more difficult to lose, especially with breastfeeding and working 50 hours a week.
I’m 18 months post-partum and in the best shape of my life! My motivation was seeing results! Once I started seeing a change, my confidence started growing! I lost five pounds my first two weeks, and that pushed me to keep going. When you see how your body responds to good nutrition, consistency, and exercise, it encourages you to press forward.
How did you change your eating habits?
I slowly started to change my eating habits. I started using Herbalife, and it was super easy to follow. The shakes taste fantastic, and they’re easy to make. They’ve saved me from eating out like I used to.
What did your workout routine consist of?
When I first started, I did a lot of cardio. Now, I focus mainly on strength training!
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
I started my journey at 167 pounds, and I currently weigh 145 pounds.
What is your height?
I’m 5’2″.
When did you start your weight loss journey?
I started my journey at the end of July 2020, and I am currently six months in.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
I’ve learned how to be consistent and patient. It’s a lifestyle change, so it’s a slow, gradual process. You have to be consistent to maximize your results!
What advice would you like to share with women who want to lose weight?
My advice: Don’t let anyone talk you out of doing what’s best for you! There will be people who will try to speak doubt into your plans. The only person that’s standing between you and your goal is YOU.
