Transformation of the Day: Candra lost 76 pounds. She became her own motivation as she saw her body change. Since October 2018, she has put in the work by creating her own healthy meal plan, working out consistently, and believing in herself.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going, even when you wanted to give up?
I was my own motivation! I could see the results of my hard work, and I wanted more!
How did you change your eating habits?
I created my meal plan and kept it simple with protein, veggies, and berries. Everything else was cut out.
What did your workout routine consist of? How often did you work out?
I was at the gym for most of my workouts, and I exercised about four days a week. I recently incorporated Beachbody workouts due to the pandemic. The programs have helped me continue to lose weight, and now I can see my abs starting to appear! I used 10 Rounds and now MBF! Both are excellent programs, and I’ve lost 6 pounds by starting MBF.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 230 pounds, and my current weight is 154 pounds.
What is your height?
I am 5’7″.
When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started my journey in October 2018, and the transformation took eight months.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No, I didn’t have weight loss surgery. Just natural weight loss.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
You truly have to believe in yourself, and you have to want it for you. Its the only way you’ll succeed.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Keep pushing, even when it gets hard, and you have nothing left to give. Keep pushing because change is coming.
