Regina lost 36 pounds. After suffering migraines, knee pain, shortness of breath, and high blood pressure, she started her transformation journey two years ago. She worked with a nutritionist to change her eating habits and fell in love with working out.
My fitness journey began in August 2018. That month, I decided to take control of my health and get serious. I suffered from migraine headaches, shortness of breath, and knee pain. My blood pressure would be extremely high some days. At that point, I knew something had to change.
I started walking every day for 1-2 miles. Then, I worked with a nutritionist to help me control my food intake. My eating habits completely changed the same day that I decided to change my lifestyle, which wasn’t hard for me.
Look at me now! I absolutely love working out. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about the gym.
What was your motivation?
What motivates me is my family. They always push me to be a better person on the inside and outside. Fit ladies from all across the world inspire me to keep going every day, even when I feel like giving up.
What is your current workout routine?
My daily workout routine consists of walking 4 miles a day and lifting. I also enjoy skating. I work out about five days a week.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 238 pounds, and now I weigh 202 pounds.
What is your height?
5’7″
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No surgery at all.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
My biggest lesson I’ve learned is to stay consistent and trust the process.
What advice would you like to share?
My advice to beginners or someone who doesn’t know where to start is to get up and go walking. Remember, it starts by starting with YOU!

Your story is very inspirational. I had bypass surgery in 2001 and I’m still struggling with my weight. Thanks for the uplift !!
