Transformation of the Day: Tiffany lost 109 pounds. This Cleveland, OH Educator decided to have Gastric Bypass surgery to improve her health and live a limitless life. She also embraced healthier eating habits and 2-hour workouts.
I’m a 33-year-old Educator from Cleveland, Ohio. I decided to change my life on June 25th, 2019. I had Gastric Bypass RNY surgery after several years of trying to lose weight naturally and seeing little to no results. I’m currently six months post-op and down 121 pounds!
What inspired you to keep going when you wanted to give up?
My inspiration: Making the choice to live a healthy, limitless life.
How did you change your eating habits?
I metabolically couldn’t lose significant amounts of weight, even with the surgical tool. So, I’ve drastically changed my eating habits by eliminating carbs and sugar completely! I eat white fish, green veggies, and organic peppers regularly.
What is your workout routine?
I work out three times per week, 2 hours per session. I do cardio and core exercises.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 347 pounds, and my current weight is 238 pounds.
What is your height?
My height is 5’3″.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
I’ve learned never to allow others to project their fears on you & alter your life choices
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
I encourage anyone who is struggling to make the choices necessary for their journey. Choose to live and don’t allow others to project their fears or reservations on you. I hope someone is filled with courage and will by my transparency.
