What was your motivation?
There were various reasons for my transformation. From seeing my patients struggle due to obesity to wanting to ensure that I would be mobile for my youngest son.
What inspired you to keep going when you wanted to give up?
Transformation stories on Instagram and other weight loss stories inspired me.
How did you change your eating habits?
I significantly reduced my intake of sugar and sodium.
What foods did you stop or start eating?
I stopped eating a lot of processed foods. I started eating more plant-based foods.
What did your workout routine consist of? How often did you workout?
I worked out for 30 minutes, anywhere from 4 to 5 days a week. It didn’t matter what I did specifically as long as I did cardio and strength training.
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
My starting weight was 332 pounds, and my current weight is 239 pounds.

When did you start your journey? How long did your transformation take?
I started in 2018 October, so it’s been 1 year.
Is weight loss surgery part of your journey?
No surgery, but I want to have a tummy tuck eventually.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned?
I learned that I should never get comfortable with bad habits.
What advice do you have for women who want to lose weight?
Don’t give up.
