How have you continued to lose weight?
I made my workout routines and eating habits a lifestyle.
What obstacles, hurdles or setbacks have you faced during your journey and how did you get back on track?
Birthdays seemed to be my setbacks because that is the only time me and my friends get to hangout with each other. I made it a point to make healthy choices during these times so I wouldn’t get completely off track.
What has worked in terms of eating habits and what worked in terms of exercise?
Sticking to the basics works for me. I make sure I get my protein and veggies in everyday, along with a fruit and plenty of water. Also, cardio has helped me to drop a lot of my weight.
What lessons have you learned on this journey?
I learned the importance of consistency and I learned about the control that I have over my life. Also, I would have incorporated weight training in the beginning of my journey to help tone as I lost the weight.
At this point, would you offer any new or different advice to people who want to lose weight?
I would recommend Fitness on Fire to my family and friends because they are there for you every step of the way, encouraging you pushing through to the end. They have helped me with my confidence level by helping me get my sexy back. They showed me that I have the willpower to become a healthier me. Whatever I put my mind to I can do it!
