Crystal lost 42 pounds. Her motivation was fitting into her clothes again and getting off of blood pressure meds. She learned that having patience and keeping track of what you are eating is key. Check out her journey.
What was your motivation? What inspired you to keep going when you wanted to give up?
My motivation starting off was to fit into my clothes again, and to get off high blood pressure meds. Stepping on the scale weekly inspired me to keep going and to keep seeing results.
How did you change your eating habits?
I changed my eating habits by counting calories and using My Fitness Pal. I ONLY drink water. I don’t eat chips or candy. I also cut out meat for 2 months.
What did your workout routine look like? How often did you workout?
I workout between 5 and 6 days per week. I do cardio and lift weights. For cardio, I mostly do Zumba with Evelyn Wilson (@nfldiva). I lift with @only1que_en. (Cristal W got me into weights).
What was your starting weight? What is your current weight?
I weighed 199 pounds and now I weigh 157 pounds. My height is 5’5″.
When did you start your journey?
Two years ago and I’m still going.
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned so far?
That you have to be patient with yourself and keep moving.
What advice do you have for other people who want to lose weight?
Just be consistent and know that there’s more than one road to Mexico.
