Transformation of the Day: Andrea lost 140 pounds. This busy entrepreneur wanted to be a healthy role model for her daughter. Taking her health into her own hands, she did her research and created her own meal plan and workout routine. Check out her journey.
What was your motivation?
A desire to be healthy and my daughter were my motivations. I want to be great role model for her to look up to.
How did you change your eating habits?
I researched healthy meal recipes and created my own meal plan. I stopped eating fried food and bread. Things you would find in my meal plan: sweet potatoes with honey, grilled or baked chicken, fresh steamed vegetables, fruits, turkey, whole grain rice or noodles. I also drank kombucha tea 3-4 times a day.
Three months ago, I became a Vegan. My vegan meal plan includes meatless meat, vegan eggs. vegan bacon, gluten free noodles and vegan, gluten free muffins.
What did your workout routine look like?
I created my own workout routine. My custom workout routine consists of boxing, twerking, hip-hop dance and cardio. I worked out 2-3 times a week.
Starting weight/Current weight
My starting weight was 300 pounds. My current weight is 160 pounds. My height is 5’8″. No surgery.
When did you start your journey?
I started my weight loss journey 7 months ago.
What advice do you have for others who want to lose weight?
Drink lemon water with 6 sliced lemons and black berries. Drink a gallon. Gradually decrease your intake of bread and fried foods.

A 140 lbs weight loss in 7 months?!! The skeptic in me is saying “this can’t be real”, while the woman in me that needs to lose about that much weight is saying “Finally! someone figured out how to do it. Please help me too.” Losing that much weight is a blessing especially if weight loss has always been a struggle. Kudos to you Andrea.
