Peas
Peas, green peas especially, are such a common food that it’s easy to forget that they are a great source of protein for vegetarians. Green peas, cooked, have about 8 grams of protein in one cup. For even higher protein you can have split peas which have 16 grams of protein after being cooked. You can find some great pea-based protein powders that have 15 or more grams of protein per serving.

Great info. I am completely blown away by spirulina’s protein content. Sounds like it would be a great substitute for for post workout protein shakes.
